AGM 2023
This Scheme was launched on the 1st of August, 2011 with the National Insurance Trust fund, a Fund sponsored by the Sri Lanka government, with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the Centenary Group and the National Insurance Trust Fund. There are many unique features in this Scheme which will be of interest and beneficial to members of the Group. Some of these are listed below.
- Only members and their spouses can join the Scheme.
- One annual premium to be paid by member and spouse under the same policy number
- Benefits include cost of hospitalization, surgical and health care for a wide variety of illnesses
- Benefits are from Rs. 1 50,000/= to 1,000,000/= depending on the premium paid
- Very nominal premiums payable as this is a service exclusively for senior citizens
- Membership is available up to the age of 85 years
- Minimal and simple procedure in claiming and obtaining benefits.
Fourteen members and their spouses joined the scheme at the inauguration. The Executive Committee of the Centenary Group strongly recommends this scheme to Members as these terms and benefits are not available with other insurance companies. Two of our members have already reaped benefits under this Scheme.
